Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Woodford County). Everything went their way against the Shelby County Rockets on Friday as the Woodford County Yellowjackets made off with an 82-57 victory. Given the Yellowjackets' advantage in MaxPreps' Kentucky basketball rankings (they are ranked 14th, while the Rockets are ranked 238th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Woodford County has also been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-6 record this season. As for Shelby County, their defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-11.
