Baseball Recap: Bartlett Comes Up Short

After flying high against Quaboag Regional on Saturday, Bartlett came back down to earth. The Indians came up short against the Grafton Gators on Tuesday, falling 11-1. The defeat continues a trend for the Indians in their meetings with the Gators: they've now lost five in a row.

Bartlett saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mason Sebastyanski, who went 1-for-2 with one run.

Bartlett's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Grafton, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bartlett will take on South at 11:00 a.m. on Friday. As for Grafton, they will challenge Nipmuc Regional at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Gators 3, the Warriors 1.8) so any runs scored will be well earned.
