The Grafton Gators will face off against the Leominster Blue Devils at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Grafton is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.5 runs per game this season.

Grafton managed to slip by Wachusett Regional the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Gators lost 10-3 to the Mountaineers on Wednesday. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Gators, who until this matchup were averaging four runs allowed.

Grafton saw eight different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ryan Chagnon, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI. Jonathan Schiappa also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

Meanwhile, Leominster fell victim to Holliston and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 2-0.

Grafton's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Leominster, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
