Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Martin). They put the hurt on the Lamar Vikings with a sharp 17-2 win on Wednesday. The Warriors haven't had any issues with the Vikings recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.

Martin's win bumped their record up to 4-7-1. As for Lamar, their loss was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 5-7.

Coming up, Martin will take on Grand Prairie at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Lamar, they will challenge Haltom at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Lamar is facing Haltom at the right time seeing as Haltom is stuck on a ten-game losing streak.
