Jamar Smith Goes Supernova in Glasgow Victory

Glasgow's six-game losing streak dating back to last season is now nothing but a memory thanks in part to Jamar Smith. Smith was dynamite on Saturday, rushing for 135 yards and a touchdown. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, picking up a sack and making nine total tackles.

Glasgow's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-5. Smith and Glasgow will take on Christiana at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.

Tatnall Wins 17th-Straight Thanks to Gino Greer

Tatnall picked up their 17th consecutive win on Saturday thanks in part to Gino Greer. McKean had no answer to Greer as he rushed for 83 yards and a touchdown.

Tatnall pushed their record up to 5-0 with the victory, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season. Greer and Tatnall will be playing in front of their home fans against Tower Hill at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.

Juan Aldas Delivers Electric Performance Vs Glasgow

Wilmington Charter had to settle for second on Saturday, but Juan Aldas sure wasn't going down easily. Glasgow had no answer to Aldas as he picked up a sack and made 14 total tackles (3.0 for loss).

If history really does repeat itself, Aldas might just drop another big game when he faces off against St. Elizabeth on Saturday. Back in November of 2023 (the last time Aldas saw the Vikings), he picked up a sack and made 14 total tackles (4.0 for loss).

Kameryn Swinney Delivers Best Effort of Season

On Saturday, Glasgow got the W thanks in part to Kameryn Swinney playing the best football he has all season. Swinney wasn't messing around, picking up a sack, making 11 total tackles (3.0 for loss), and defending two passes in addition to snagging an interception. The contest was his third straight with six or more total tackles dating back to last season.

Swinney must have Wilmington Charter's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Swinney saw the Force), he picked up a sack and made 12 total tackles (3.0 for loss).
