Basketball Recap: Nimitz Cougars vs. Eisenhower Eagles
Nimitz was the 81-57 winner over Eisenhower when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Nimitz Cougars took a 54-49 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eisenhower Eagles. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Cougars came into the contest with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 294th, while the Eagles are ranked 983rd).

Despite the loss, Nimitz still got an impressive performance from Jimiren Ratliff, who went 9 for 18 on his way to 23 points in addition to five rebounds and four steals.
