Basketball Recap: Heritage Starts off Right with Win over Arapahoe + How To Watch

Heritage had to kick off their season on the road on Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. Everything went their way against the Arapahoe Warriors as they made off with a 79-58 win. This was payback for the Eagles, who suffered a 51-48 loss the last time these two teams met.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Heritage to victory, but perhaps none more so than Charlie Gilloth, who went 7-for-8 to rack up 25 points. Those 25 points gave Gilloth a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Trystan Rangel, who shot 44% from the field en route to 18 points and seven assists.

Heritage was working as a unit and finished the game with 24 assists. They racked up eight more assists than Arapahoe's also-impressive total of 16.

Despite the loss, Arapahoe still got an impressive performance from Reed Mccubbin, who posted 11 points. James Donahue was another key player, putting up six points.

Heritage has already played their next game, a 69-61 victory against Southlake Carroll on the 4th. As for Arapahoe, they will hit the road for the first time this season to square off against Mountain Range at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
