After having lost a blowout in their previous game against First Baptist, Founders Classical Academy was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They walked away with a 49-36 victory over the KIPP Austin Collegiate Cardinals. The Archers' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

KIPP Austin Collegiate's loss came despite strong showings from Aimee Santiago and Genesis Robles. Santiago almost dropped a double-double on 16 points and nine rebounds, while Robles posted 15 points. That was a full 41.7% of KIPP Austin Collegiate's points, marking the sixth time in a row she's had more than a third of the team's points.

Founders Classical Academy's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-3. As for KIPP Austin Collegiate, they dropped their record down to 7-4 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games.
