Basketball Game Preview: Bedford Bisons vs. Carrick Raiders

The Bedford Bisons are taking a road trip to take on the Carrick Raiders at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Bedford is coming into the game on a six-game losing streak.

Last Thursday, Bedford came up short against Central and fell 56-43. While losing is never fun, the Bisons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 536th, while the Dragons are ranked 90th).

Jacob Wilson put forth a good effort for the losing side as he posted 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Quincy Swaim, who put up nine points in addition to five assists and five boards.

Meanwhile, Carrick suffered their biggest defeat since January 10th on Wednesday. They came up short against Obama Academy of International Studies, falling 65-45. The Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Carrick's loss dropped their record down to 13-10. As for Bedford, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-18.
