Basketball Recap: Mid Peninsula Comes Up Short

Mid Peninsula was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 47-39 to the Rapid River Rockets. The Wolverines were probably out for revenge after losing 53-38 to them when the teams met back in February of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Mid Peninsula's loss dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Rapid River, their win bumped their record up to 4-12.

Mid Peninsula wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 75-40 defeat against Carney-Nadeau on the 31st. As for Rapid River, they will head out on the road to square off against Superior Central at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
