Colonial and Timber Creek squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Colonial had to settle for second. They took a 13-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wolves. The Grenadiers' loss signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Colonial didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Aurora Adams and Jada Grice.

Colonial's defeat dropped their record down to 9-6. As for Timber Creek, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season.

Colonial does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Timber Creek, they will be playing at home against Forest at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (the Wolves have won six straight at home, while the Wildcats won five straight on the road), something that'll have to change.
