MaxPreps and AVCA to Select Boys Volleyball High School Players of the Week

MaxPreps and the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) will team up each week throughout the spring season to select Boys Volleyball Players of the Week.
CAMERON PARK, Calif. --- MaxPreps and the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA)
are
teaming up in an effort to promote high school boys volleyball and
highlight accomplishments of student-athletes throughout the entire
nation.The
MaxPreps/AVCA Regional High School Boys Volleyball Players of the Week
honors eight of the top high school boys volleyball performers each week
throughout the United States starting on Monday, March 5.MaxPreps
will serve as the official statistics and results provider for program.
The AVCA will select the players each week, based on those statistics
provided to MaxPreps.
Each winner receives a certificate and a letterman patch to showcase the honor.
2018 Players of the Week
Week 1: February 25 - March 4, 2018
Week 2: March 5 - March 11, 2018
Week 3: March 12 - March 18, 2018
Week 4: March 19 - March 25, 2018
Week 5: March 26 - April 1, 2018
Week 6: April 2 - April 8, 2018
Week 7: April 9 - April 15, 2018
Week 8: April 16 - April 22, 2018
Week 9: April 23 - April 29, 2018
Week 10: April 30 - May 6, 2018
To
nominate players, coaches or team administrators must enter the
athlete's game stats by Monday evening of each week. High school coaches
can obtain an access code for their teams by visiting: www.maxpreps.com/cl.
The Player of the Week program will be divided into the following regions:

In addition to the Player of the Week program, the AVCA will begin nominations for it's 2018 AVCA Boys All-American Awards on Monday, May 14. The award is only offered to current high school seniors and AVCA membership is required in order to nominate.
