Basketball Recap: Lower Richland Diamond Hornets vs. Swansea Tigers
The Lower Richland Diamond Hornets scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Swansea 92-22 on the road. That 70 point margin sets a new team best for Lower Richland this season.
Lower Richland's victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-6. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.8 points per game. As for Swansea, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-21.
Lower Richland will be playing in front of their home fans against the Bruins at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Orangeburg-Wilkinson is coming into the game hot, having won their last four games. As for Swansea, they will head out on the road to square off against the Bearcats at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Brookland-Cayce is coming into the match on a four-game losing streak.
