Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Van Buren). They came out on top against Edison by a score of 20-16 on Tuesday. For the Vee Bees, this counts as revenge for the 13-3 victory Edison walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2019.

With the win, Van Buren broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-5. As for Edison, their loss was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-8.

Van Buren has already played their next game, a 29-13 defeat against Richmond Hill on the 23rd. As for Edison, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 23-7 victory against Queens Teaching on the 25th.
