Softball Recap: Bishop O'Dowd Comes Up Short

Bishop O'Dowd fell victim to Shadow Ridge and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They lost 6-0 to the Mustangs. The Dragons' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Bishop O'Dowd saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jaella Mercado, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases.

Bishop O'Dowd's defeat dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Shadow Ridge, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-1.

Looking ahead, Bishop O'Dowd will take on Chaminade in a tournament on Friday. As for Shadow Ridge, they will be taking part in a tournament against Bingham at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
