Strasburg had won seven straight games and Cade Hemphill did his part to make it eight on Saturday. The Indians were the clear victors by a 33-7 margin over the Kent Denver Sun Devils for which the team can thank Hemphill, who rushed for 148 yards and three TDs while picking up 8.2 yards per carry, and also picked up 82 receiving yards. He was no stranger to the big play, connecting on a big catch that went for 53 yards.

One reason for the win was Strasburg's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for seven sacks. Leading the way was Jorge Parra with 3.5. Jayden Miller got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Strasburg's victory bumped their record up to 8-0. As for Kent Denver, their loss dropped their record down to 7-1.

Coming up, Strasburg will welcome Bennett at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Indians will be up against the Tigers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 41.63 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Kent Denver, they will head out to square off against Elizabeth at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Sun Devils will need to watch out since the Cardinals have now posted at least 31 points in their last five contests.
