Volleyball Recap: Coronado Takes a Loss

Coronado was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cortez Colts. The Dons were not able to make up for their defeat to the Colts from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Coronado's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Cortez, they moved to 2-7 with that win, which also ended their six-game losing streak.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Coronado will challenge Cactus at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Cortez, they will head out to square off against Lee Williams at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
