Volleyball Game Preview: Valley Indians vs. Eastern Eagles

The Valley Indians will head out on the road to take on the Eastern Eagles at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Valley saw some tournament action on Wednesday. Everything went their way against Nelsonville-York as they made off with a 3-0 victory.

Meanwhile, Eastern came tearing into Wednesday's matchup with seven straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Lancers. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Eagles have posted since September 23, 2024.

Valley's victory bumped their record up to 17-5. As for Eastern, their win bumped their record up to 19-4.

Valley couldn't quite get it done against Eastern in their previous matchup back in September of 2023 as they fell 3-1. Can the Indians avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
