There's no place like home for the Windsor Forest Knights, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Friday. They managed a 46-40 win over Toombs County on Friday. This was payback for Windsor Forest, who suffered a 30-28 loss the last time these two teams met.
Trinity Myers continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 16 points. Another player making a difference was Grace Ellington, who scored ten points.
Windsor Forest's victory bumped their record up to 5-8. As for Toombs County, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-8.
Windsor Forest will head out on the road to challenge Brantley County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Toombs County won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Twiggs County at 1:30 p.m. on January 13th. Twiggs County is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.
