Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Catasauqua). They walked away with a 79-72 victory over the Bethlehem Christian Panthers on Thursday. The win was all the more spectacular given the Rough Riders' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 488th, while the Panthers are ranked 150th).

The victory made it two in a row for Catasauqua and bumps their season record up to 2-4. As for Bethlehem Christian, the defeat snapped their winning streak at seven games and leaves them with a 7-1 record.

Catasauqua will square off against Pen Argyl at 6:45 p.m. on January 3, 2025. As for Bethlehem Christian, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Northern Lehigh at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Bethlehem Christian's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
