Soccer Recap: Concord vs. East Henderson
With a playoff game on the line, Concord rose to the challenge on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the East Henderson Eagles. The Spiders' defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last four contests.
Concord has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 19-2-4 record this season. Concord will play host again on Tuesday to welcome Hickory, where kickoff is scheduled at 7:00 p.m. Hickory will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Concord surely won't give up without a fight. East Henderson does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
