Basketball Recap: Saddle River Day Takes a Loss

Saddle River Day was the 72-70 winner over St. Joseph when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Saddle River Day Rebels fell to the St. Joseph Falcons 60-56. The Rebels have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Saddle River Day's loss dropped their record down to 7-9. As for St. Joseph, their win bumped their record up to 3-10.

Saddle River Day and St. Joseph could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps New Jersey Rankings. Saddle River Day (ranked 122nd) will meet St. Joseph Regional (ranked 19th) at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, St. Joseph will square off against St. Benedict's Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday down 159 places (217 vs. 58).
