Samuell is headed into Friday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their eighth straight game on Monday. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of Wilson.

Meanwhile, Poteet came tearing into Tuesday's matchup with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.7 goals), and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single goal of losing the streak, but they secured a 4-3 W against the Stallions.

Poteet pushed their record up to 12-2 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 28 goals over those eight games. As for Samuell, their loss dropped their record down to 1-10.
