Softball Recap: West Valley Beats Royal for Their Fourth Straight Victory

West Valley proved they can win big last Thursday (they won by 18) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Royal Knights 4-3. The win was nothing new for the Rams as they're now sitting on four straight.

West Valley now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Royal, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 7-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. It'll be Eastside v. Westside when West Valley and East Valley meet at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Royal, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on College Place at 3:00 p.m. on the 15th. The Knights will need to watch out since the Hawks have now posted at least ten runs every time they've taken the field this season.
