Rocklin lost against Del Oro on March 5th, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Thunder fell 3-1 to the Golden Eagles. The Thunder's loss signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Rocklin started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 19-25, 25-22, 25-20, 25-20.

Bryan Lie paced Rocklin's offense, picking up ten kills. Lie got some help from Zachary Burdick and his 17 assists. Donovan Kuwazaki and Ziyi Yang kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with three aces apiece.

Rocklin's defeat dropped their record down to 9-12. As for Del Oro, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 16-9.

Rocklin has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Folsom on the 2nd. As for Del Oro, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-1 defeat against Oak Ridge on the 2nd.
