Basketball Recap: Conneaut Area Comes Up Short

Conneaut Area lost against Lakeview back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Conneaut Area Eagles received a blow as they fell 67-52 to the Lakeview Sailors.

Conneaut Area's loss was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Lakeview, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 2-3 record.

Conneaut Area and Corry will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Corry will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Conneaut Area surely won't give up without a fight. As for Lakeview, they are taking a road trip to take on Reynolds at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Lakeview is facing Reynolds at the right time seeing as Reynolds is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
