It was a good run, but Guyer unfortunately witnessed the end of their ten-game winning streak on Saturday. They took a hard 62-47 fall against the Heritage Coyotes. The Wildcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Coyotes apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2015.

Leading Heritage to victory were Bryson Howard and Cameron Lomax. Howard dropped a double-double with 17 points and ten boards, while Lomax shot 50% from the field en route to 26 points and six rebounds. The matchup was Lomax's 29th in a row with at least 16 points. Tyson Elder was another key player, putting up five points.

Guyer's loss dropped their record down to 10-3. As for Heritage, they pushed their record up to 10-2 with the victory, which was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Guyer will take on Bowie in a holiday battle at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Wildcats will be up against the Volunteers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 64.57 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. Heritage and Australian National Team (Australia) will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
