Basketball Recap: Guthrie Comes Up Short

On Friday, the Guthrie Bluejays came up short against the Claremore Zebras and fell 58-46. The Bluejays have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Guthrie's loss dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Claremore, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-7.

Guthrie will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Shawnee at 6:00 p.m. Guthrie is facing Shawnee at the right time seeing as Shawnee is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Claremore, they will take on East Central at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. East Central knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 16 matches -- so hopefully Claremore likes a good challenge.
