Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Spring). Everything went their way against the Nimitz Cougars on Friday as the Spring Lions made off with a 6-3 win. Gerald Moreno was a massive factor in the win as he booted in three goals all by himself.

Spring picked up their first home victory, bumping their record up to 4-7-5. As for Nimitz, they dropped their record down to 3-10-3 with the loss, which was their seventh straight on the road.

Spring has already played their next game, a 4-3 defeat against Aldine on the 10th. As for Nimitz, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, an 8-1 loss against Dekaney on the 10th.
