Soccer Game Preview: Warrensburg vs. Mid-Buchanan

The Warrensburg Tigers are taking a road trip to square off against the Mid-Buchanan Dragons at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Warrensburg has now lost eight straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since the 3rd.

Warrensburg fell victim to Pleasant Hill and their airtight defense on Thursday. They came up short against the Roosters/Chicks, falling 7-0. While losing is never fun, Warrensburg can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri soccer rankings (they are ranked 148th, while Pleasant Hill are ranked 18th).

Meanwhile, Mid-Buchanan's game on Friday was close up to the half, but then they kicked things up a notch. Everything went their way against Cameron as they made off with a 6-0 victory. The result was nothing new for Mid-Buchanan, who have now won five contests by three goals or more so far this season.

Mid-Buchanan now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Warrensburg, their loss dropped their record down to 3-9-1.
