Basketball Game Preview: Armstrong Wildcats vs. John Marshall Justices

Armstrong is 1-9 against John Marshall since December of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Armstrong Wildcats will head out to square off against the John Marshall Justices at 7:30 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Armstrong is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They enjoyed a cozy 58-41 victory over Patrick Henry on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, John Marshall made easy work of Amelia County on Tuesday and carried off a 54-32 win.

John Marshall now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Armstrong, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Armstrong took a serious blow against John Marshall in their previous meeting back in December of 2023, falling 77-17. Can Armstrong avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
