Basketball Game Preview: Mosley Dolphins vs. Leon Lions + Official Tickets

The Mosley Dolphins will face off against the Leon Lions at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Mosley is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 52.9 points per game this season.

Mosley will bounce into Thursday's contest after beating Choctawhatchee, who they had gone 0-9 against in their nine prior meetings. The Dolphins strolled past the Indians with points to spare on Monday, taking the game 64-48. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Dolphins.

Breanah Peace had another great game (as she tends to do), dropping a double-double with 16 points and 16 rebounds. She continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Caydence Keys, who shot 78% from the field to rack up 14 points and seven boards.

Mosley was working as a unit and finished the game with 24 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Leon faced off against Godby on Tuesday. The Lions were dealt a 47-19 loss at the hands of the Cougars. The game marked the Lions' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

The win got Mosley back to even at 4-4. As for Leon, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-2.

Mosley won a contest that couldn't have been any closer in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, slipping by Leon 51-50. Do the Dolphins have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Lions turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
