Volleyball Recap: Graham Comes Up Short

Graham was the 3-0 winner over Bluefield when they last played one another last Wednesday, but their luck changed this time around. The G-Men fell 3-1 to the Beavers on Monday. The G-Men have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 12-25, 25-20, 25-17.

Elise Jacobs paced Graham's offense, picking up seven kills. Jacobs also shared the team's lead in assists with Grace Dixon: they picked up seven each. Dixon also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Paylin Cline, each putting up three.

Graham's loss dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Bluefield, they moved to 2-15-1 with that win, which also ended their three-match losing streak.

Graham wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Marion on the 7th. As for Bluefield, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Lebanon on the 8th.
