Volleyball Recap: Andrews Starts Season with Win on the Road

Andrews had to kick off their season on the road on Monday, but they showed no ill effects. They skirted past the Hannah-Pamplico Raiders 3-2. For the Yellowjackets, this counts as revenge for the 3-1 win the Raiders walked away with the last time they faced one another back in August of 2023.

Andrews was actually outscored in aggregate across those five sets (95-93), but they still managed to win. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 11-25, 25-19, 17-25, 15-8.

Andrews didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Georgetown on the 28th. As for Hannah-Pamplico, they have also already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Pee Dee Academy on the 26th.
