Volleyball Recap: Jenah Redmond and Kenadie Suarez Secure Win for Deltona

Deltona's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Mainland Buccaneers. This was payback for the Wolves, who suffered a 2-1 loss the last time these two teams met.

Deltona had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 17-25, 25-15, 25-13, 25-19.

Leading Deltona to victory were Kenadie Suarez and Jenah Redmond. Suarez had 22 digs and four aces, while Redmond had 32 assists and seven digs. Those 32 assists gave Redmond a new career-high.

The win got Deltona back to even at 1-1. As for Mainland, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.
