Basketball Recap: Lexington Takes a Loss

Lexington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They were three points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 42-39 heartbreaker at the hands of the Lafayette County Huskers. The Minutemen were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Huskers earlier this season, when they won 52-44.

Lexington's record now sits at 8-14. As for Lafayette County, the win got them back to even at 11-11.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lexington will take on Richmond at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Lafayette County, they will square off against Carrollton at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
