Baseball Recap: Osage City Takes a Loss

Osage City was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They fell 4-1 to the Humboldt Cubs. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Indians of the 2-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Osage City saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was JD Tyson, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI.

Osage City now has a losing record of 10-11. As for Humboldt, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-4 record this season.

While Osage City had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
