Caro and Millington are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2018, but likely not for long. The Tigers will head out to face off against the Cardinals at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Caro's pitching crew has only allowed 3.5 runs per game this season, so Millington's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Another player making a difference was Matt Baker, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Millington was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .600. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

Caro's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-9-1. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for Millington, their record now sits at 15-6-1.

The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Thursday as neither team is afraid to steal. Caro has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 2.8 stolen bases per game.
