Basketball Game Preview: Logan Chieftains vs. Pickerington Central Tigers

Logan is preparing for their first conference matchup of the season on Friday. They will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on the Pickerington Central Tigers at 7:00 p.m.

On Friday, Logan was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 45-41 to Warren. The Chieftains haven't had much luck with the Warriors recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Meanwhile, Pickerington Central made easy work of Reynoldsburg on Tuesday and carried off a 62-37 win. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Raiders recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

The win got Pickerington Central back to even at 1-1. As for Logan, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 1-1.

Logan was dealt a bruising 53-17 defeat at the hands of Pickerington Central in their previous meeting back in January. Can the Chieftains avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
