Preview: Kaufer Seahawks vs. Premont Cowboys
The Kaufer Seahawks will head out on the road to face off against the Premont Cowboys at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Premont took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Kaufer, who comes in off a win.
Kaufer posted their biggest win since December 9, 2023 on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Ben Bolt with a sharp 66-46 win. The win was just what Kaufer needed coming off of a 71-48 loss in their prior game.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Kaufer to victory, but perhaps none more so than Joshua Russek, who scored 19 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Cesar Silva, who scored 18 points.
Meanwhile, Premont ended up a good deal behind Agua Dulce on Friday and lost 48-32. Premont has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Kaufer's victory bumped their record up to 9-16. As for Premont, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-19.
Everything came up roses for Kaufer against Premont when the teams last played on January 3rd as the team secured a 66-29 victory. With Kaufer ahead 41-16 at the half, the match was all but over already.
