Baseball Recap: Manor Comes Up Short

After soaring to 17 runs the game before, Manor was a bit more limited in their game on Monday. They came up short against the Indian River Braves, falling 13-2. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Mustangs of the 24-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2024.

Manor saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cody Miller, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI.

Manor's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Indian River, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Manor will square off against Deep Creek at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Manor is facing Deep Creek at the right time seeing as Deep Creek is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Indian River, they will face off against North Caroline at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
