Soccer Game Preview: Washington Township vs. Boone Grove

Washington Township is 0-10 against Boone Grove since September of 2015 but things could change on Monday. The Senators will square off against Wolves at 4:30 p.m. Boone Grove took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Washington Township, who comes in off a win.

Washington Township will bounce into Monday's match after beating Hebron, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. The Senators never let the Hawks get on the board and left with a 1-0 win on Friday. Washington Township wouldn't have won without Lilly Reeder, who scored the game-winner.

Meanwhile, Boone Grove has been on a difficult stretch since their win on the 8th. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of DeMotte Christian on Thursday. Chayse Duerr was hit with a yellow card, which may have had some impact on her (and the team's) ability to make aggressive plays.

Boone Grove's defeat dropped their record down to 5-7-1. As for Washington Township, their victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 4-7.
