Volleyball Recap: Beech Grove Takes a Loss

Beech Grove lost against Herron back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Hornets came up short against the Achaeans, falling 3-0. The Hornets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-12, 25-17.

Ryker LeTourneau paced Beech Grove's offense, picking up five kills. LeTourneau really made an impact as he also led the team in assists with eight.

Beech Grove's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Herron, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-4.

Beech Grove has already played their next game, a 3-1 win against Martinsville on the 21st. As for Herron, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Irvington Preparatory Academy on the 21st.
