It was a good run, but Headland unfortunately witnessed the end of their eight-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell just short of the Dothan Wolves by a score of 9-8. The Rams were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Wolves earlier this season, when they won 9-3.

The defeat was their first on the road , dropping their record down to 13-3. As for Dothan, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season.

Headland didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 6-5 loss against Long on the 15th. Dothan has also already played their next game (against Cypress Creek), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
