Volleyball Recap: Magnolia Science Academy's Undefeated Season over After Three Games

After flying high against Magnolia Science Academy 5 last Wednesday, Magnolia Science Academy came back down to earth. The Pirates lost 3-0 to the San Gabriel Academy Eagles on Tuesday. The loss put an end to the Pirates' undefeated start to the season.

The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-16, 25-15.

Having lost for the first time this season, Magnolia Science Academy fell to 2-1. As for San Gabriel Academy, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Magnolia Science Academy is set to challenge their familiar foe Calvary Chapel at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, San Gabriel Academy will square off against rival Redlands Adventist Academy at 8:30 p.m. on Saturday.
