Football Recap: San Diego's Luck Changes for the Better on Friday + How To Watch

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but San Diego had no problem doing just that on Friday. They came out on top against the Imperial Tigers by a score of 24-14. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Cavers as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

San Diego found their leader in sophomore Jayden Harris, who threw for 277 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 13.9 yards per attempt. Harris' passing game has become a key predictor of the Cavers' success: the team is undefeated when his passer rating is 100 or higher, but only 2-5 otherwise.

San Diego now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Imperial, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-2.

Coming up, San Diego will square off against Mission Bay at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Imperial does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
