Baseball Recap: Holliston Victorious

While Holliston's win against Medfield wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Panthers had just enough and edged out the Warriors 2-1 on Monday. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Warriors recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Lucas Engel looked comfortable as he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (three).

At the plate, Holliston saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sam Schoenberg, who went 1-for-3 with one triple and one run. That triple marked the first that Schoenberg has hit this season.

Holliston's win bumped their record up to 7-5. As for Medfield, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-4.
