King's Fork has gone a perfect 4-0 against Franklin recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. King's Fork will look to defend their home field against Franklin at 5:00 p.m. King's Fork has given up an average of 9.2 runs per game this season, but Monday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

King's Fork came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 19-9 to Lakeland. The Bulldogs have struggled against the Cavaliers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Franklin, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Northampton on Friday as Franklin made off with a 21-10 victory. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Broncos' hitters, who had struggled in the games prior.

Raigen Maslowski made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out 11 batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and nine unearned) runs off six hits (and only one walk). That earned run was her first of the season. She was even better at the plate, scoring four runs and stealing ten bases while getting on base in all five of her plate appearances. Maslowski is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: she's snagged at least one every time she's taken the field this season.

In other batting news, Ja'Najh Frazier was a standout: she scored three runs and stole seven bases while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Telease Willis, who scored two runs and stole five bases while getting on base in three of her five plate appearances.

King's Fork's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2-1. As for Franklin, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-3-1.

Everything went King's Fork's way against Franklin in their previous meeting last Friday, as King's Fork made off with a 23-2 victory. Will King's Fork repeat their success, or does Franklin has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
