Basketball Recap: Hempstead Comes Up Short

Hempstead was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss. They were dealt a 75-24 defeat at the hands of the Boling Bulldogs. The Bobcats were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 45-12.

Hempstead's loss dropped their record down to 3-15. As for Boling, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 18-10 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Hempstead Bobcats duke it out with the Brazos Cougars at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Boling has already played their next contest (against Hitchcock), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
