Basketball Recap: Westmoreland Victorious

Westmoreland won the last time they faced Rappahannock and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Westmoreland Eagles skirted past the Rappahannock Raiders 51-48. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Eagles have posted against the Raiders since January 31, 2023.

With the victory, Westmoreland broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 10-8. As for Rappahannock, their loss was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-13.

When Westmoreland and Rappahannock next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Westmoreland will try to stop Lancaster's three-game winning streak when the meet at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Similarly, Rappahannock will challenge Northumberland and their three-game winning streak at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
